Tournament of Tournaments VI

Winner: Dr. Strange Icon_icon_drstrange

Highlights: Oh. My. God. Thats alot of fighters. Connor MacLeod gets a win in his first ever Swath battle, Raziel proves once again that he is no push over, and Zatanna gets a big upset of the Man of Steel. Lich King vs. Raziel was quite the drawn out battle, as was The Source of All Evil vs. Lich King and Plastic Man vs. Venom. Speaking of our friend Plastic Man, he finally made it past the second round!! Could he finally be gaining some credibility? I think so, especially after beating ToT5 winner Kratos. Squash matches include Silver Surfer vs Snake Eyes, Robocop 2 vs Raziel, The Crow vs. Darth Nihilus, Doomsday Vs. Deadpool.

WTF Moments: Dante and Cloud again??! Oh jeez, someone step in and... Oh, Dr. Strange. Well done! Exactly HOW did we let Buffy beat Hancock? Wierd, better luck next time I guess. And poor, poor Sephiroth> Why oh why did we let you go down like that?

Fights I would like to see: Definetly Doomsday beating the shit out of a laughing Deadpool.. hilarious! Any of of the fights in the Finals Bracket, we no matter what kind of insanity ensued en route to the finals, every Character in the Finals deserved to be there and they all would be on my must see list. Especially Dr. Strange vs. Darth Nihilus. I invision that battle as a shoot out, the first one to pull a move off would have won, and Stephen Strange had the fastest guns that night.

Round 2: Atlas Park (City of Heroes)
Round 3: Independence Port (City of Heroes)
Round 4: Hoth (Star Wars Battlefront)
Round 5: Rhen Var (Star Wars Battlefront)
Round 6: A map from Halo (when i find out what it's called i'll post it)

Wow talk about a killer tournament, I pretty much agree with the lot of it with the exception of these 2:

1. How did Cole Mcgrath beat Black Adam? I ask because *ahem* Im an "expert" on the game inFAMOUS...and I dont see how he could beat Black Adam Shocked

2. Even worse than the first one, how in the name of everything that is holy did fucking Obi-Wan beat Sephiroth????!!!!???!!!???

Kudos to Doc Strange on his win over a player like Darth Nihilus. I could see that being quite the debate in itself! Thumb up

1. He won based off his ability to heal from the powerlines in the venue (I haven't played the game, but Cuttdown and CVEckian were adamant he could do it)

That was one of the better tournaments in my opinion. I had a blast and was definitely happy to see some of the characters get the recognition they deserved. Unfortunately for Hancock we are all as drunk as he was by the time his battle rolled around. LOL

Looks like most of my favorites went out in round 1, and I too am baffled on how Hancock lost to Buffy and Sephiroth lost to Obi-Wan. I dont know much about Cole MacGrath so I cant really go into that battle, but other than those I think things went pretty well like they should with those battlegrounds. And congrats to Doctor Strange!

Hancock lost to Buffy, well it boiled down to the time frame with which we pulled Hancock from. If memory serves me right we decided he was a drunk and that would be his downfall. Plus it was Buffy from the comics not the tv show. So she was more powerful.
